You are invited to an information day titled “Small insects, big proteins – the animal feeds of tomorrow” as part of our European research project, Cipromed Project (Circular and inclusive utilisation of alternative proteins in the Mediterranean value chains).

LOCATION: at the Multipurpose Hall of the Department of Agriculture in Nicosia.
The event will be welcomed by the Minister of Agriculture, Rural Development and Environment, Dr. Maria Panayiotou.
The event will present innovative, environmentally friendly sources of protein, such as agro-industrial residues, insects, legumes and microalgae, for the production of animal feed.
The event will also present the environmental benefits, such as reduced land and water use, as well as reduced CO2 emissions. By adopting these alternative protein solutions, new opportunities for food and feed production can be created while revitalizing the agricultural sector.
Participation is free, but registration is required.
