A three-day (30/10-01/11/2024) large-scale fieldwork was carried out in the Quarry Zone of Androlikos, with the aim of determining the environmental impact of the quarrying activity.
The Talos-Exorixi-YNB Consortium has undertaken the implementation of the project.
Six experts participated in the scientific group:
Mining Engineer:
- Specialist in the assessment and measurement of impacts from mining processes and specialist in the planning, development and rehabilitation of Quarries and Mines.
Metallurgical Engineers:
- Specialist in blasting design and noise and vibration assessment
- Specialist in environmental studies
- Specialist in flora and habitats in terrestrial environment
- Bird specialist
- Chiropractor specialist
