Minister of Health visit at biobank.cy Center of Excellence

The Minister of Health, Mr. Michalis Damianos, visited the biobank.cy Center of Excellence on Friday, April 19th.

Mr. Damianos was given a tour of the biobank’s facilities and briefed on the multifaceted activities, vision, and goals of the Center.

The tour was followed by a presentation on the pillars and research programs of biobank.cy by Professor Constantinos Deltas, in the presence of Professor Georgios Hatzigeorgiou, Dean of the Medical School of the University of Cyprus, Mr. Marios Eliadis, representing the Center’s Council, Dr Alexandros Michaelides, Director of RTD Talos and a Partner in the CY-Biobank project, and members of the Center’s team.

Mr. Damianos congratulated the management and staff of the Center for the innovative work they had accomplished.
