Awards
In Business - Business Awards 2008
Small and Medium Enterprise of the Year!Through a ceremony, which took place in the Hilton Park Hotel in Nicosia, were announced the first Awards for the Enterprises, which was organised by the magazine In Business and the Hellenic Bank. Developmental Organisation TALOS obtained the important Award of “Small and Medium Enterprise of the Year 2008”. The awards wer decided through the evaluation of the enterprises by a committee, in combination with the votes of the readers of the magazine, which proves the recognition of RTD TALOS within the Cypriot society and especially the Business sector. With this occasion we would like to thank all the people that voted us, and we are determined to continue the high level of services that we offer.
ETEK Engineering Award 2015
An Engineering Award was awarded to the 7th Framework Program-funded "Lynceus" Project, which concerns the creation of an integrated system for locating and safely evacuating ships in the event of an accident, utilizing state-of-the-art technologies in the fields of wireless networks and digital signal processing. Lynceus is an award-winning pan-European, innovative applied engineering research project expected to make a significant contribution to the safe evacuation of passengers from ships in emergency situations. The project demonstrates the ability of Cypriot companies to develop cutting-edge technologies through applied research and to produce products and services that are competitive and marketable at an international level. RTD Talos is the project coordinator.
Global Innovation Award
In 2014, Talos was awarded the innovation award from Loyd's List Awards for the project Lyncheus. TALOS is the Coordinator of the LYNCEUS project being responsible for the overall financial, legal and administrative management of the project. It also plays an active role in the dissemination and exploitation activities assisting the end-user partners for the best possible exploitation of the project results.

RTD Talos was certified to the ISO 9001:2008 quality standard in November 2011 and to the ISO 9001:2015 edition in December 2020.
The International Certification Network - IQNET
Cyprus Certification Company has issued an IQNET recognized certificate to the ISO 9001:2015.
Cyprus Institute of Certified Management Consultants
The CEO of RTD Talos Ltd, Dr Alexandros Michaelides, joined after the successful completion of the process as a member of the Cyprus Institute of Certified Management Consultants (CICMC – www.sesek.com.cy).
Human Resource Development Authority Cyprus
Since 2016 RTD Talos has operated a Vocational Training Center (VET) after the Human Resources Development Authority's relevant approval (K433). The infrastructures it has have also been evaluated by the Human Resources Development Authority and certified as DEK(D276). The Director of KEK in RTD Talos, Christodoulos (Lakis) Argyrou, is a certified Vocational Training Instructor (E002789) with a degree in Communications (BSc in Communications - Cum Laude), in Public Relations (Hensall center, London), a graduate of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens in Executive and Corporate Coaching and Mentoring and with many years of experience in seminars, workshops and lectures in Cyprus and abroad.
Ministry of Agriculture, Rural Development and Environment
RTD Talos is an accredited body (Φ13) in the Department of Agriculture to draw up Status Improvement Plans 4.1. "Investments that improve agricultural holdings' overall performance and sustainability" and Measure 6.1. "Strengthening the first establishment of young farmers" of the Rural Development Program 2021-2027 .
